You Already Know What You Want. Your Body Knows How to Get There.
Farming Greatness is coaching that uses movement as the vehicle for change. We name the goal, find the emotion underneath it, locate where that emotion sits in your body, and then we move. Literally.
Every engagement starts with a real conversation. There's nothing to buy before we talk.
The gap between knowing and becoming
Most people don't lack clarity. They lack traction.
You've read the books. You've set the goals. You can describe the person you want to become in detail. Months later you're standing in the same field, looking at the same unplanted ground.
Here's what years of working with human movement taught me: insight alone doesn't change anything, because change doesn't live in your head. It lives in your body. The tension in your shoulders when you think about the conversation you keep postponing. The heaviness in your chest when you picture another year exactly like this one. Your body has been telling you something the whole time.
Your body isn't the obstacle to your growth. It's the vehicle for it.
Who this is for
Movers. You're already in the gym, on the mat, on the trail. You sense your physical practice could be about more than reps, and you want to use it as a vehicle for who you're becoming.
Fitness professionals. You help others move for a living. You want a career that's sustainable and purposeful, built on more than programming.
Leaders. You run programs, teams, or facilities. You want your people and your organization to grow, and you know that starts with you.
If what you're carrying calls for therapy or clinical support, I'm not the right person, and I'll tell you that on the first call rather than after you've paid.
The method is the same for everyone. The intensity and the framing adapt to your world.
How this works: from goal to proof
Every engagement follows the same logic, the way a farmer works a field. You don't force growth. You create the conditions for it.
Surface the goal. We name what you really want, not the polished version you tell people at dinner.
Find the emotion. Every goal that matters has an emotional root. We dig until we reach it.
Locate it in the body. Where does that emotion sit physically? It's always somewhere.
Design the movement. We build a physical practice around it, from a small shift in posture to full exercise, scaled to you.
Create the proof. You end up with change you can feel and point to. Evidence, not a mindset.
This approach draws on my training in CTI coaching and Positive Intelligence, the work of Tony Robbins, and years of hands-on practice in human movement. I'll always tell you whose ideas I'm standing on.
Your Growing Season
This isn't a drop-in session. You don't plant a seed and dig it up a week later to check on it. Coaching here runs as a committed cycle with a start date and a finish date.
There are two lengths: 6 sessions or 12. Both are one-on-one and run on a fixed schedule. The 12-session program adds support between sessions, a review at the halfway point, and a check-in 60 days after you finish.
Every cycle ends. That's the point. If you still need me after twelve sessions, more sessions aren't the answer.
Why I do this
I'm Dave. I spent years learning that the hardest chains to break are the ones you can't see: the stories about your own worth that keep you quiet, small, and rooted in place.
Movement is how I found my voice. Not as a metaphor. Physically. Now I help other people do the same, one goal, one emotion, one movement at a time.
I've worked with individuals, with fitness professionals, and inside organizations, including facility management for hotel and corporate properties in Montreal. I've sat in the room where those decisions get made, at every level.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. Movement here means intentional physical practice scaled to you. Sometimes that's a workout. Sometimes it's how you hold your shoulders walking into a room you've been dreading.
-
Coaching. We work on goals, emotions, and action. Movement is the tool, not the product. You won't leave with a training program.
-
Single sessions produce good conversations and not much else. A cycle gives the work enough time to become a habit, and it gives you something concrete to point to at the end.
-
30 minutes, free. You tell me what you're working on and what's been getting in the way. By the end we both know whether this is a fit. If it isn't, I'll say so
-
Over video, which means location isn't a constraint. I'm in Montreal, so in-person happens occasionally for local clients. We can talk about it on the call.
The season starts when you decide it does.
30 minutes, no cost, no pitch. Tell me what you want to change and we'll work out whether this is how you get there.
