Who Am I

Hi, I’m Dave Estrada. Born in the Philippines, I moved to Montreal at 11, and it's been home ever since.

I studied Kinesiology at McGill (B.Ed), then spent close to a decade in the fitness industry — trainer, lead trainer, assistant manager.

From there, I moved into the corporate world: seven years in disability case management, which led me into user acceptance testing, application support, business analysis, product ownership, and scrum mastership. Today I work as a Business Analyst / Scrum Master at Infosilem, a Montreal-based software company serving higher education with course scheduling solutions.

Three years ago, I trained as a professional coach with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) — and it reconnected me to something I'd always carried. That's what brought fitness and coaching together into one practice.

My Story

My story is still being written. But I know where it starts.

I grew up near my grandmother's home, surrounded by farmland and farmers — planting, cultivating, harvesting, so that the work could serve others. I wasn't a farmer myself, but that rhythm shaped me. So did my grandmother. She taught me kindness, generosity, community, and the value of hard work — simple values, rooted in doing unto others.

Years later, in the later stages of my career in the insurance industry, a colleague gave me a copy of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. It cracked something open — my first real awareness of personal development. That led me to enroll in a coaching program at the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI).

That training was transformational. It gave me back my belief in myself — my confidence, my inner leadership, my capacity to show myself the same kindness I'd always shown others. It reconnected me to my deeper roots.

It also taught me this: the ups and downs of life don't define me. What I take from them does. That awareness is what carries me forward — the belief that I can make the best of what I have, and that grace matters more than guilt.

That's where this all started. And I'm still living it.

My Mission

My mission is to help people grow — by being exactly who I am.

Listening and empowering are my superpowers. I bring presence, curiosity, and self-awareness into every conversation, creating a space where people feel truly heard. I believe I carry an abundance of positive energy, and I share it freely — to help people move toward whatever it is they're meant to achieve.

That's what drew me to coaching. Coaching creates change through conversation — it does the internal work of clarifying what someone actually wants. Movement gives that internal work a body. It's the vehicle that embodies the growth happening inside.

Together, conversation and movement create the whole: internal clarity, paired with physical action.

That's my mission — to help people grow through coaching and movement, using my ability to listen, to empower, and to hold space for the personal growth that follows.

Where to connect

If something in my story resonates with you — if you're looking for an equal partner, not someone standing above you, but beside you — this is for you.

If you're seeking to move from fear to hope, from low energy to abundance, from doubt to quiet confidence — I'd be honored to walk that path with you.

I don't just coach growth. I accompany it — through the sowing, the cultivating, and the harvesting of your own personal greatness.
